Join XStream Software's SharePoint Team...

At XStream Software, we are currently growing our SharePoint practice for our professional services division. We are looking for talented SharePoint Architects and SharePoint Developers. Ideally, the candidates will have a strong consulting background with a track record of delivering complex technical SharePoint solutions targeted at the enterprise level. You will often work directly onsite with our clients in delivering SharePoint professional services.

While we understand that the SharePoint platform is huge, and that nobody can understand everything about SharePoint, we expect candidates to demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of SharePoint (both from a business value perspective and a technical implementation perspective). The following are some of the key skills we look for in potential SharePoint candidates:

• 3+ years of experience working with the SharePoint platform (MOSS 2007, WSS v3, and SharePoint 2010).

  
  

• Experience with building, configuring, and customizing SharePoint features involving site collections, document libraries, content types, master pages, event handlers, and custom lists.

  
  

• Experience in developing custom Web Parts.

  
  

• Experience in developing custom solutions that sit on top of the SharePoint platform using the SharePoint client object model or native APIs.

  
  

• Development experience in SharePoint object model APIs, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, jQuery/JavaScript, AJAX, Web Services.

  
  

• Experience in using Visual Studio 2008/2010 for SharePoint development.

  
  

• Experience in architecting SharePoint from high-level system architecture to logical architecture.

  
  

• Ability to configure application architecture (App Pools, Web Applications, Site Collections, etc.) in SharePoint.

  
  

• Can engage in a client-facing role, drive the adoption of SharePoint within organizations, and be involved in various lifecycle phases of SharePoint projects.

  
  

• Can translate functional and non-functional business requirements to a SharePoint-based design and architecture.
