XStream RapidShare™ is XStream Software's hosted or client-installed web environment and digital workspace. This module-based, collaborative enterprise platform provides secure, interactive shared spaces on the web for advanced communication/collaboration, content authoring/storyboarding, content deployment, learning/training management & delivery, media management & delivery, resource sharing, and conferencing. The technology is available as either a hosted (subscription-based) service or a client-installed solution. In a hosted solution, the XStream RapidShare system is hosted on XStream Software's servers. The direct advantage of a hosted solution is that the hardware infrastructure is in place, meaning that the client incurs no additional hardware costs.

Because XStream RapidShare uses modules, it enables customers to make use of one or more modules, and it also provides XStream Software the capability to share functionality across multiple modules. In addition, XStream Software can work with its customers to expand and extend the functionality provided within its existing modules and also create new modules based on client requirements.
