The ECM is available as a secure module on the XStream RapidShare™ platform, which is XStream Software's interactive web environment and shared digital workspace. This highly scalable enterprise system is based on a .NET architecture, features Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security using 128-bit encryption, and works with either the SQL Server or Oracle Server back-end database platform. As a module on the XStream RapidShare platform, the ECM can be made available as either a hosted solution (i.e., directly hosted on XStream’s servers and provided as a subscription-based service) or a client-installed solution (i.e., fully installed and implemented within the client’s own hosting environment).
