Software Launches RapidManager™ v3.0 Release 2
Latest version of RapidManager includes support for Performance
Analyzer files and addition e-learning data reports.

and Administration/Tracking technologies, has released RapidManager
v3.0 Release 2, the latest version of XStream's back-end
(SQL Server-based, Oracle-based, or MS Access-based) administrative
management tool.
RapidManager v3.0 Release 2 works
with XStream's RapidBuilder®, RapidExam™, Performance
Analyzer™ and LGP Builder™ technologies. It
enables designated system administrators to create login
accounts for user authentication and progress tracking on
RapidBuilder project (.RPR/.SWF) files, SCORM v1.2 courses,
RapidExam assessment (.EXM/.XML) files, Performance Analyzer
evaluation (.RPE/.SWF/.XML) files, and LGP category (.NWZ)
files.
Because it now supports both RapidExam files
and Performance Analyzer files, RapidManager v3.0 Release
2 enables the administrator to create, manage, and track
RapidExam Exam objects and Performance Exam objects. A RapidExam
Exam object can be linked to a question-based RapidExam assessment
file, while a Performance Exam can be linked to a performance-based
Performance Analyzer evaluation file.
Due to the new support for performance exams, RapidManager
v3.0 Release 2 includes modifications to several existing
reports in RapidManager (many of which are now
customized according to e-learning type) as well as a variety
of new additional reports (including reports related to
performance exams).
RapidManager v3.0 Release 2 is SCORM
v1.2 compliant. In addition to registering/tracking RapidBuilder
project (.RPR/.SWF) files, it can also register and track
SCORM v1.2 courses created using RapidBuilder 3.0 Deluxe, RapidExam
v2.0 Deluxe, Performance Analyzer v1.0, or any
third-party SCORM v1.2 course-building tool. Bookmarking
is also supported for SCORM v1.2 courses (just as it is for
projects and exams). This means that authenticated users
may mark a specific screen before exiting a SCORM v1.2 course
in order to return to that location upon the next login. RapidManager
v3.0 Release 2 also includes a browser-based SCORM Launcher
through which users may access their assigned SCORM v1.2
courses.
RapidManager v3.0 Release 2 also
works with RapidPortal™ v1.0 Release 2, XStream's
integrated web portal application. RapidPortal v1.0 Release
2 provides a web-based Admin Portal, which is
used by designated system administrators to access the RapidManager
database and perform administration activities over the Intranet/Internet.
It also provides a web-based User Portal, which is
used by authenticated end users to access their assigned
RapidBuilder, SCORM v1.2, RapidExam, Performance Analyzer,
and LGP files over the Intranet/Internet.
