This is a 8051 based Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)
monitoring system developed for a local UPS manufacturer.
This device is used to collect, monitor and generate
the required alarms and parameters monitors are the
following:
- 3 Phase input voltage (RYB)
- 3 Phase output voltage (RYB)
- Input Current
- Output current
- Battery Current
- Temperature
- A number of potential contacts.

of the front panel |
It has 16 channel 8 bit Analog to Digital converter, linear optical isolators
to interface to input / output voltage / current sources and a temperature sensor.
It has a two line 16 character LCD display where the measured information is
displayed. It also keeps record of the any abnormal variations from the set
values of these parameters and displays them when user needs them.

It has a RS232 interface to a computer and this information
can be displayed in a graphical form using a developed
MIMIC interface. Suitable software is also developed
on the PC side to send mails to configured users whenever
the measured values deviates from set values and also
to schedule shutdown of any machine on the UPS.
