A High-end GUI based audio system
was developed which has 640 X 200 pixel LCD panel with
a touch screen to control this system. The system has
CDROM, FM/MW radio, Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) and
auxiliary audio interfaces . The output from these
audio sources can be diverted to any or all of the
four high power audio outputs, the system provides.
The system is based on a number of micro controllers
each controlling a audio source and is based on Dallas
Semiconductors 87c520 running at 33 MHz.
A full graphical
Library was developed to display the GUI related
to each audio interface.
The system also has a FM based portable remote control
with the screen of 640 X 200 pixel size showing the
same GUI as the main system and interacts with the
main system through FM and controls the same.
