PCI Add-on card for PCM Data Simulation
PCM SIMULATOR is used to simulate
Satelite Telemetry in Ground Station. Telemetry data
consists of Frames and SubFrames of data containing
FrameIDs, FrameSyncPatterns, Time Stamps and actual
Satelite data.

It is a PCI add-on card using a PLX PCI9054 IC to
interface to PCI bus on one side and a local bus on
the card. PCM code generator is developed using 2 high
speed Cypress FIFO's and a Cypress Ultra37K CPLD. Time
code reader was implemented using an Atmel 89C51 Microcontroller.
Level shifting of the PCM code is achieved by using
high speed Operational Amplifiers and other analog
circuitry.

A Windows 98 Device Driver was developed for this
card and an High end GUI based application is also
developed on this using VC++.
