RapidSVG v2.0 Professional is XStream Software’s 100% programming-free graphical SVG authoring technology. Using the new Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) browser standard (which will soon have default support across all major browsers including Internet Explorer and Netscape), RapidSVG provides a programming-free, drag-and-drop authoring environment in which developers may create, publish, and deploy SVG web sites, graphics, animations, and other types of SVG content files rich in interactivity.

SVG Page Authoring & Editing

RapidSVG enables developers to easily create projects consisting of multiple SVG pages. Pages may be added/inserted at any point in the project, and developers may also import external .SVG document files into the project (to reuse existing SVG pages). RapidSVG provides a range of page editing and customization options, including copying & pasting pages, deleting pages, defining page height & width dimensions, customizing page colors and opacity, adding background images to pages, and more.

General SVG Objects

RapidSVG provides a drag-and-drop palette of General SVG Objects, including Line, Rectangle, Ellipse, Polyline, Polygon, Spline, Pencil, Text, and Image. For any General Object, the developer may easily add and customize multiple SVG animations.

Multiple Image Formats

RapidSVG allows the developer to import multiple image types (.BMP, .GIF, .JPG, .PNG, etc.) to the page canvas. Although SVG natively supports only JPG and PNG images, RapidSVG goes one step further and allows the developer to assign any image file. An assigned image file will be automatically converted and saved in a format supported by SVG.
