SVG Patterns Palette

SVG patterns are supported (in addition to colors and gradient blends) for use in SVG pages and objects. The RapidSVG Patterns palette provides the developer with a range of predefined eye-catching patterns, and the developer may also import patterns from external .SVG files.

Support for SVG “Use” Objects

RapidSVG supports the SVG “Use” element by enabling developers to define “Use” objects through the Source Editor and/or import “Use” objects from external .SVG files. The “Use” element allows the developer to define a shape once and then use it many times within the .SVG file (i.e., essentially allowing the creation of object templates).

Embedded SVG Pages

RapidSVG provides the capability of embedding an .SVG page into another .SVG page as an object. The developer may embed a new .SVG object from scratch (using the Source Code Editor) or import an external .SVG file that already contains an embedded .SVG object. An embedded .SVG object can be edited/manipulated like any other object, and it is displayed within its own viewbox on the parent .SVG page.
